@Cyber, If you want to check it out, its called Battle Break ⬆️ The description above has a link to it.
I will say that this was tested using Very Hard difficulty mod (was impossible with doom beasts attacking starting day 2) as well with the Insanity mod where the scaling may not affect the doom enemies but still testing with that mod. Despite everything its a cool mod and I like the new enemy variety and it forces you to play less passively.
TLDR: Overall an amazing concept of a mod which definitely adds a lot of challlenge to the game but one that i personally wouldnt recommend using as of right now especially for performance reasons with blight being so Heavy.
#1 the raiding doom beasts that spawn really spice up the enemy variety and makes things a good bit more interesting although their spawn locations could perhaps be changed to have them spawn just a bit further away as i sometimes had some spawning right inside my town near the hearth
#2 The Tentacle Trap is a very creative idea and certainly was surprising when encountering the first time but after a while it became just a bit annoying fighting them off as not even inside the heart your town would your hearthlings be safe from them, perhaps this could be changed to have them not attack near light sources?
I did a playthrough in Normal mode, and using Vanilla SH, up until the Orc wars started, and it was good. Kept me busy moving the troops around, and I tried to always craft the best gear for their level, having Clerics healing, and using buff potions sometimes as well.
