New sound sets for locomotives

I think this mod has been causing my train's horns not to work. How can I fix that?

Thanks for the feedback! This is meant to be more generic than the linked soundmod from Jay's I guess, which I actually have used myself too but forgotten it then. But I could always tweak mine too of course :)

it's a soundset similar to the older Train sound mod, I guess without the more distinct locomotive noises of that mod. Might have to rub the two together and see what comes out.

(I meant they had DC engines)

You could also consider that most old electric locos in Europe were DC and had the loudest ventilators possible, which means they were absolute screamers!
But I would call that music to my ears!

for eletric you hear a tone that goes higher and higher like a gearbox try to add that
same goes for the diesels when the drive away the engine gets louder but the moment they get more speed the the diesel engine whit sound less loud becausse its rolling and when going reasonble uphill they should make also more noise the diesel engines whit eletric that doesnt happen much
depend's on the steepnes of gradient it goes up

the sounds for diesel and eletric when they drive away maybe a tat bit louder becausse you can barely hear them but for the rest they sound like in real live

Looks like the only extra yours have are the new steam sounds that the other mod didn't change. But the other mod changes wagons sounds, being more complete overall.

I will see if I combine your steam sounds with the sounds in the other mod to have a full replacement of all trains and wagons sounds in the game.

Huh I've missed that totally somehow, well it depends which you want to use. Check the video I attached and then decide which you want to use.

In what aspect your mod is different from this one?
