This is a part of the "Ultimate Visual Fix Pack" mod, download if you want to try this and the many other fixes included here!:

Fixes Scottish Resistance's improper vmt material setup that lacked the shaders all weapons normally have.

Also includes a new backpack icon that reflects the said material changes.
