Named after one of the greatest war films ever made, Das Boot is a functional replica of a German Type VII U-boat submarine. Its myriad of features include two steerable torpedoes, a traversable periscope, a moving rudder and propellers, and a fully decorated interior with amenities such as a kitchenette, enigma machine, and head.

If sufficiently damaged, the constraints holding the hoverballs in place will break and the doomed vessel will sink to the bottom of the sea. Premature detonation of the torpedoes when still in the tubes spells almost certain death for those aboard Das Boot.

More information on the use of Das Boot will be provided in an in-depth owner's manual (to be released in bookstores near you).

Indeed my friend. Since Garry's mod is also finally getting a "major" update this March 13th, with addition of new turret entities, vanilla craft dupes should have much more potential now. We shall see what is to come.

Mr Nikolai, and the people you work with; I have huge respect for you and the dupes you and your team has created. So far, they're the cleanest functioning dupes I have ever seen on the workshop. You've even implemented APS systems on your tanks (anti-RPG). Which is a method not many vanilla builders know. There are different versions of it, but I see you using containers. Which is pretty efficient. The way the tanks' turrets aim smoothly, and ready-rack ammunition in the barrel. I love your work. But however, do not be fooled. This compliment will most likely end here. Hereby, I declare war on YOU, and YOUR team. Inspecting your methods, and ways of building each craft, and counter-building specifically to fight your diabolical tech. Do not worry. You're not safe anywhere. Be it ground, air and even water. And even under-water. My new tech will spread everywhere around the globe. Maybe even space? Depends on you. It is up to you to take this war on space...
