Umbra

Umbra is a character that uses an Umbrella as weapon and petal magic to fight.

Her playstyle revolves around her defensive projectiles that allow you to have defensive options when approaching or getting hit. She has some fancy supers using her petal magic that allow you to deal massive damage or fancy combos.

This is my first ever character, I never did any kind of spriting nor drawing before this. Everything is done from scratch and as clean as I was able to make it.

She was one of the first ever modded characters for YomiHustle that was completed. She is an og.

Normals

Sting Fast jab, good in neutral
Low Bud Decently fast, low (HAS SWEETSPOT)
Swing Bread and butter attack, has good damage (HAS SWEETSPOT)
Tripple Thorn Triple Hit, strong sweetspot (HAS SWEETSPOT)
Sprout Uppercut, 2 hits, can be cancelled on first hit
Glaive Ranged Multihit attack, DI Mixup
Wind Slide Floor Slide, pretty fast, good to carry people to corners
Season Grab Command Grab, has 2 options
-> Next Season High Frame advantage, low damage, is a combo extender
-> Season End Instantly Knocks down, high damage, combo finisher

Normals Air Only

Single Thorn Upward attack, good damage and hitstun (HAS SWEETSPOT)
Flower Split Short range attack, can hit OTG (on the ground)
Downpour Downward attack, knocks enemy towards ground (HAS SWEETSPOT)


Specials
Wind Dash Short Range dash with hitbox
Seeker Delayed projectile aiming at enemy
Razor Petal Defensive Projectile, follows Umbra around, can only have 2 active
Flying Wind Dashes Forward, creates hitbox behind, slow version outside combo
Blinking Wind Same as Flying Wind, but faster and only available in combo
Storm Stance Activate Storm Stance, ignores gravity/velocity and holds you in place, allows one out of 3 follow
up attacks
-> Breeze Fast, Short Ranged, Low Damage (good minimum damage)
-> Gust Medium, Medium Ranged, Medium Damage (good minimum damage)
-> Gale Slow, LongRanged, High Damage (good minimum damage)


Supers

Petal Slap (1bar) big diagonal hitbox, resets enemy speed on hit, has couple frames of invincibility
Petal Dance (3bar) Big Multihit High Damage super
