Description

This map is named off the book Armor by John Steakley. Banshee (Designated A-9) is cold, inhospitable, hostile planet in the book, where screaming wind and acid seas form mountains from dunes in years, and destroys them just as fast. This map is a fictional recreation of the location where Felix first dropped onto Banshee. From the acid seas a peninsula juts north, terminating in sea of mesas, dominated by a single mountain: the Knuckle. Looking down, it almost appears as if a hand is reaching into the sea. In the book, many battles are fought in this area, at a great cost and of little grand importance. Many will fall on this alien world, hostile and inconquerable.

Heedless, uncaring, Banshee awaits.

Awesome map concept, but way too bright yellow, it's still a good map, its hard to find desert maps with coastlines on the workshop, it also need trees and decoration, but its going in the right direction

PMC Tutorial for my first map, it's hella outdated though sadly. Link here:https://pmc.editing.wiki/doku.php?id=arma3:terrain:ultimate-terrain-tutorial . I reccommend making your first map based off this (after the tutorial one) and then make one using the Livonia config - it's way, way better. The arma 3 discord is fantastic, don't skip steps for any guides.

It has a orange tint I can assure you, all of the textures and satmap are orange tinted - Arma just isn't too keen to show it at day as the lighting engine is funny. Evenings and Mornings/slight overcast is best to draw out details.
