"Marbleball" - Pinball Machine

Description
A fully functional pinball machine! How high of a score can you get?

-------------------------

Marbleball

Hello, thank you for checking out my pinball build! Creating this took about 5 days of on and off work (approx. 14 in-game hours according to Steam). You can find instructions on how to play and a list of features below. Please feel free to ask questions or leave comments in the comment section of this post! Let me know how high of a score you can get!

-------------------------

Instructions

Start new game - 0 ( Zero key) -This can be done at any time-

Launch ball - Return (Enter key)

Paddles - Left and Right Shift

-------------------------

Features

Lower Bumpers

These bumpers award a small amount of points.

Lower Lanes / Ball Saver

The four lanes on each side of the lower bumpers will award points when a ball passes through it. If a ball passes through one of the lanes, it will set off a blue light. Once all four lights are lit, a ball saver will be activated. The ball saver is two boosters located in the farthest lanes. These boosters will remain active until a ball is saved by them.

Spinner

The spinner feature awards points over time as long as the ball is inside it. The ball will eventually bounce out.

Loop

The back loop is accessible from both sides of the map, one lane between the kickback and spinner features, and one lane between the bonus and tube features. If the ball makes it halfway though to the bumper lanes on the top, points will be awarded. If it makes it all the way to the other side, double points are awarded.

Kickback

The kickback feature will hold the ball for a few seconds before awarding points and launching it back out.

Upper Bumpers / Bumper Lanes

The upper bumpers' point values are affected by the bumper value. If you light all three of the bumper lanes, the bumper value will go up a level.

Bumper Value

The bumper value determines how much points a single upper bumper hit is worth. It can be leveled up by the bumper lanes or the bonus round.

Bonus Tabs / Tube

The tube feature is affected by the state of the three orange bonus tabs. If less than three tabs are lit up, the tube feature will award a large amount of points and re-release the ball from the tube above the upper bumpers. If all three bonus tabs are lit up, hitting the tube will trigger the bonus round!

Bonus Round

If the bonus round is triggered, a ball will automatically drop through the plinko board on the top of the machine. When the ball reaches the end, the appropriate lane will light up and a prize will be awarded. Prizes include 100,000 points, 500,000 points, enabling the Ball Saver, raising the Bumper Value by one level, or activating the Multiball feature.

Muiltiball
If the bonus round awards you with multiball, the tube above the bumper lanes will dispense three balls instead of one. No lives will be lost until all three balls are lost. If two or more balls are in play, the jackpot will be available.

Jackpot
If you still have at least two balls active from a multiball event, the jackpot is available. The jackpot is awarded if you are able to trigger another bonus round and land in the 'Multiball' lane. 10,000,000 points will be awarded.

@A really bad aimbot -
Thanks for the info! I will have to check for some of the areas you mentioned. The ball slowing down is unfortunately an issue caused by the way marble physics is done. Unlike with heavier pinballs, the marbles tend to be affected by spin a lot more, so once it starts to lose forward momentum, it will travel in the direction it is spinning. With this motion, though, you can do some curveball shots.

I'll do some tests with the launcher too, i'm sure there are some improvements that can be made haha. Thanks again for your comment!

I really love this! However I ran into a few issues during my playthrough... If you attempt to cradle the ball on the left flipper it will get stuck. Also the ball majorly slowed down after it passed the star field. Is this by design? Lastly the ball can get stuck on the level portion of the launch. I hope these issues are fixed as I'd love to try it again! :zzz_bumper:
