Made as a cheap and effective way of giving strike craft support to smaller task forces, the Majestic was a game changer in anti-piracy operations. Featuring a brand new Class IX jump drive, its FTL speeds were unmatched at launch. Despite being outclassed in speed by newer vessels in the coming years, the Majestic's speed was still more than enough to keep up with the fleet and strike at pirate outposts without warning. Some in the MHC believe that the Majestic is the sole reason that piracy along the Pertam Directorate border has dwindled to almost nothing. The ship is also effective in standard fleet combat. With a capacity for 7 I-15 "Javelin" interceptors, it has the highest fighter capacity for a ship of it's size.
