Description
Every dream comes to an end. But before it does, the eternal wandering dream visits the dreaming Aether to wake the heat of battle.
Madotsuki, from the RPGMaker cult classic Yume Nikki, joins the battle in Rivals of Aether Workshop!
Turn the battlefield into your own lucid dream with Madotsuki's varied movement options and stage control.

Made by Hyuponia, Spider Boi, and Altali for RPGMaker Jam, hosted by Ambi at Rivals of Aether Extended Workshop server!


-SPECIALS-
NSpecial - Hand-Eye Grab
A relatively simple grab-and-throw, taking advantage of Hand-Eye Effect's giant hand.
If you nspecial on the door something interesting will happen.

FSpecial - Witch Flight
Use the Witch Effect to fly forward. While flying, you can cancel the flight into Aerials and Airdodge. In addition, you can angle the flight up and down as well.

Dspecial - Dreaming Door
Summons a door out of thin air. The door will then gain a shadowy fog that keeps growing over time, which once full, summons a head of a creature from the dream world, to the direction of nearest opponent.
Hitting your opponent while the door is present will also increase the shadowy fog of the door.

USpecial - Hand-Eye Teleport
Use the power of Hand-Eye to teleport to a direction. You can also hold the Special button to teleport to your own door, if present.

-NOTES-
Press Taunt button at the start of the match to disable the Effect Equip/Unequip SFX/VFX!
You may have noticed that FSpecial goes to pratfall after, even after the attack you cancelled into. However, if you hit an opponent (or your door) with the attack you cancelled into, pratfall doesn't happen!

I found a bug: If you side special and then land with held neutral air, you are still actionable as long as you don't go into the idle or jumping states- essentially, you can start running right as you exit the grounded neutral air endlag

I think an opponent parrying down special's projectiles shouldn't put Madotsuki into parry-stun. It makes using down special completely worthless against anyone who knows it does, since it constantly fires towards the opponent, and moves super slowly, it's insanely abuse-able.
