TUBES READY!

Every skipper want, that when he need to use torpedoes, TUBES are READY!

In vanilla version of game times which are needed for any process combined with torpedoes (load, maintenance, time when torpedoes are ready to use) are relatively short.

This simple mod was created to rebalance those times and make the game little more realistic.

With this mod times for torpedo actions are set like below:

Process: Loading torpedoes (with 1 officer and 2 sailors) – 12:30 minutes
Process: Maintenance and loading torpedoes (with 1 officer and 2 sailors) – 18:00 minutes
Torpedo maintenance action takes about 1:15 minutes (have no idea how set this time longer)

Time when torpedoes stay maintained – 12:00 hours (for every type of torpedo).

Short explain, why every torpedo stay maintained for 12:00 hours.

It’s because I wanted to force officer to spend some time on torpedo actions during daily routine. On the other side I didn’t want to force him to run from one side boat to the other all the time (in vanilla version time when torpedoes are ready to use is set on 35 minutes only). This set force officer to set torpedoes 2 times during day, and should take him about 15 – 20 minutes on this action daily (with time to reach destination).

This is my first mod and I hope that it will be useful.

I might use your mod instead of my 9 Minute reload mod. I also like the maintenance times for yours, since there is not another mod that is updated to use.

Verstehe ich das richtig, die MOD soll verhindern, daß der zuständige Ing. andauernd die Torpedos wartet? Bei mir macht die MOD keinen Unterschied. Der Mechaniker flitzt nach wie vor alle halbe Stunde zu den Torpedorohren. Muß die MOD vielleicht vor irgendeiner bestimmten MOD im Verzeichnis stehen? Ich verstehe nicht, warum sich nichts ändert.

Yeah Salamander told me it was in there. He does modding where he is in the code. I had the same question when I was doing my 9 Reload Time mod.

Yes, Royal Raven, you must be right. I've made some tests on datasheet parameters, but no reults. But when I'll find solution the maintenence time will be longer too.

That maintenance action is hard-coded in the game. If you know some coding you can do it. I just wish the Devs would make it available to us in a datasheet.
