2025 Fingo TX 9980 Southern Eagle Edition | Luxury Long-Hood Semi Truck

A real truck for real Stormworks truckers who need to do real work.

This truck is slightly larger than your run of the mill SIBTAT truck that you can get from DIS or Falcon. The latter of which, I am not a fan of. I love the SIBTAT UCT standard connections, but absolutely hate the size standards, so I don't follow them. I build my trucks at a scale that allows me to put the best components in and add the right amount of detail. You can use it with any trailer of your choice.
I recently updated the 9980 to the 2023 model along with its glider variant leaving only a base model for people who aren't capable of putting together a custom glider truck. This is the specced out 'glamorous' variant of the 9980 that will accompany the existing lineup of model 9980 model trucks.

For starts, the Southern Eagle Edition trim package includes a 72" iconic and stlish flattop sleeper compartment, burl wood trim, sierra brown quilted leather upholstry, factory nighttime cockpit lighting, and sleeper compartment climate control.

The truck has a very stout drivetrain that I will go over here shortly.


This truck is powered by the Vforce 12-Cylinder MAX 15.8L Quad-TurboDiesel putting out a measured (roughly) 900 BHP at 1,200 RPM, and a whopping 2,750 LB-FT of break torque at 1,000 RPM, completely destroying competition in power and especially FUEL ECONOMY.


The 15.8L Vforce 12 Cylinder is mated to a standard but very reputable, reliable, and easy to drive eaton fuller 18 speed manual on highway transmission giving the beast of an engine all the potential it needs to be able to haul whatever you need to haul. Rebel Union knows that people are going to be hauling mind-blowingly big sh*t with the introduction of the Aride DLC.

Unlike the other 99% of trucks on the workshop, I went f*ucking balls to the walls on interior detail. including the burl wood, the quilted leather, some light up climate controls, a cab partition thing, a CB radio prop, parket wood flooring thanks to Tajan's paint tool that we all know and love. Lots if neatly arranged switches for all the functions the truck has.


Like I breifly mentioned before, this isn't no snowflake truck. This b*tch is meant for people who actually need to do serious work and hauling on the new aride DLC especially, and wherever else you would need a beef ass truck. A truly class leading class 8 truck. So don't complain to be that it's too big, or that it's too hard to drive, otherwise you're probably a snowflake yourself.
