Here's some tips:
- Firstly definitely look at the videos in the description, they show what most people are looking for, and if you play with the settings you can even combine/mix and match.
- Switch seed, the distribution uses it, so changing Faction Control settings but not the seed might result in just minor changes (unless your Faction Control setting changes were huge).
- Larger planets DO help with more factions, if thats too much for you machine, combine Faction Control with My Little Planet, which is an awesome mod and IS 1.6 already
1) Option to make specific factions to favor spanning close to each other to allow for things like coherent cultural groups.
2) Option to set it so specific factions have environmental preferences you can set by things like temp or biome.
3) a max/min settlements option.
