Description
Description:
This mod makes butchering rotting corpses possible, yielding adjustable/reduced amounts of leather, meat and other products, like elephant tusks and thrumbo horns, if desired.
The standard setting does not yield any meat but a reduced amount of leather, though it is up to the user to adjust it to their liking.

There is also a setting which allows for variance in the final product yield.

Dessicated corpses cannot be butchered.
To make this possible a filter has been added, which can also be applied to stockpiles, etc.

Modder notes:
This mod adds the "SpecialThingFilterWorker_Dessicated"-filter, which allows filtering for dessicated corpses.

Could you make a compatibility patch for the recipe def for Rim of Madness Bones?
Both mods define the recipe ButcherCorpseRotten and depending of load order, it may allow dessicated corpse but only return bones, or allow only rotten corpse but use your mod configuration for material.

Yes, due to the switch away from HugsLib, the settings have been redone and therefore reset

Just a heads up for those who think that this will continue on from previously - the default return for 1.6 are apparently set to 0% for everything. My pawns have been butchering rotten corpses for nothing :/

Hey thanks for the mod. Any chance you can make it give the butcher a mood debuff, except if he has an appropriate trait (Just like butchering humanlike)

can you add the ability to butcher dessicated corpses, but will yield nothing unless thrumbo or elephant? or just add a recipe that allows you to rip the horns off a dessciated thrumbo/elephant
