Destroyer Leader Shima (Vanilla)

Shima is a late cold war era destroyer leader. The build is completely vanilla but designed to float with water v3. Its propulsion comes from a set of atmospheric thrusters below the water line. All her turrets are fully piped up and functional, They are intended to be manually controlled with controls inside the main turrets or her light weapons controlled from inside the bridge.

The ship design took inspiration from the Shirane Class Destroyer of the 1970s. It has two twin assault cannon turrets in a super-firing position on the bow, and three CIWS gatling turrets as well as four auto cannon mounts pretending to be .50cal deck guns (These are hand loaded by design). She also carries a prop ASW mortar on her stern.

The ship also boasts a hangar and large helicopter landing pad on her stern and a robust set of torpedo defenses.

I hope you enjoy the ship, But as a warning this ship has **LOTS** of subgrids so it is not survival friendly, and probably tank sim speed on a server.
