Report a translation problem
the only thing that alters about gas giants is it's appearance in the sky when you land on a satellite orbiting a gas giants but this is purely aesthetic, won't touch the actual gas giant size.
Get back to me tell me if the lite version works, if not a simple patch will solve it.

Try to subscribe to more planets info and afterwards move the map to a place very far from where you are and click to a star system to see its info to see if the mod works fine, please do not hesitate to contact me if you still have issues.

The screenshot was made with More Planets info mod installed, which adds more information to the planet screen, I used this mod for the screenshot to show the way this mod alter a planet's parameter, vanilla does not show those info, it may not be apparent if you don't have more planets info installed but the planets are bigger and there are more dungeons, because you would have to actually explore the planets to find out.
Also if you subscribed to this mod with an already existing universe save you would need to travel to an unexplored region of the map as it won't change the already visited planets, or planets in the same sectors of the planets you visited.
