Designed by the l'Etak Navy as a way to project their limited power with few resources, the Nightshade proved a formidable carrier being one of the best in it's class at the time. The Nightshade outclassed the carriers used by the UFS and Procyon Commonwealth, was matched by the Ueseri, and was only outdone by the Promethean Class of the ZDF. The ship was capable of holding 16 fighters at standard capacity, and could launch them extremely quickly. The downside, however, was the limited refueling bays on the ship, which slowed down the speed at which fighters could be sent back out into combat.

This ship is the first in a while to have inspiration, being heavily inspired by "Project Orochi" from the anime Azur Lane.
