Description
While this is marked as part of the Outland series, this is functionally standalone, it does not require any other Outland modules to be active. This mod adds a bunch of new buildable floors, both wooden and stone. They used to be part of Outland - Terrain but as of 1.4 has been split off.

I am not aware of any incompatibilities. I do not use Stuffed Floors so this isn't patched yet, I'll get around to it after I'm done updating mods to 1.4 though!

I recommend checking out the collection linked at the top of the description for the listing of Outland modules currently available, no point in me listing them all here and having to update the description every time one comes out (which I would absolutely forget to do).

I have done a decent amount of testing myself, but things will of course slip through the gaps. So...

If you have an issue to report you MUST include a HugsLib log (Ctrl+F12) or I can't help in most cases.

  • Can I add to an existing save?
    I would not recommend ever doing so for any mod, results can be unpredictable.

  • Why is this marked as part of Outland when it's standalone?
    Because it was built specifically with Outland in mind, some Outland modules will also make use of these if they happen to be installed.

@Rudi Gauss

You can easily make a patch to edit the work amount. You'll have to look up the folder structure yourself on the wiki, but here's the patch if you want to put in the effort. The 120 value can be replaced with whatever you think is fair.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<Patch>
<Operation Class="PatchOperationFindMod">
<mods>
<li>Outland - More Floors</li>
</mods>
<match Class="PatchOperationReplace">
<xpath>Defs/TerrainDef[@Name="OutlandTileStoneBase"]/statBases/WorkToBuild</xpath>
<value>
<WorkToBuild>120</WorkToBuild>
</value>
</match>
</Operation>
</Patch>

@PaprikaRobin thank you this fixed it for me, took two attempts though and i also had to check the "fix less common issues" box. Now I don't have to manually add all the mountains back in dev mode lol

Yes and they are less work than fine stone floors for exactly that reason. I based it on the values for built floors, not smoothed floors, because while smoothed floors don't need resources they do need to have rough stone already there. Again, pop off.

Fine floors give 3 beauty for less time, smooth stone floors 2 beauty for less time and no resources.

Imma just change the values in the settings. Needing over 30 minutes for 200 tiles with 5 15-29 construction-skill pawns is just unreasonable.

They're given values matching or between vanilla ones. At most they're still less than the amount of Royalty's fine stone floors when made with the same materials. But pop off I guess.

380 work for one tile is just too much. 92 is already taking ages

Could you enable these floors to be built with Grimstone?

@ReneeEclipse

Little late but this can be avoided/saved with Mid-saver Saver

Should be "fix hash collisions"

@Hellsing There's a mod that makes the floors stuffable. https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2845039943

@Hellsing - Nope. That's a rabbit hole I'm not touching. Bug Ludeon to make the floors stuffable, more likely to happen.
