Description
A revival of the difficulty mod Deity++ made to work with all rulesets equally! The original version worked with Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm rulesets, but not with its two reduced units settings.

All gameplay code is credited to the original author MyopicCat from CivFanatics. Minor edits made by Fuzzle.

Adds FIVE new difficulty levels described in the images above:
9: Mythic (formerly Deity+)
10: Transcendent (formerly Deity++)
11: Infernal
12: Primordial
13: Sid Meier

Updated all new difficulties to support Dramatic Ages mode:
In a dark age, players now lose 45% of their cities on Mythic, and 5% more cities on each level thereafter.
AI now only lose 5% of their cities on both Mythic and Transcendental, 0% on higher difficulties.

Added a menu option to restore the AI's free tech and civic boosts upon entering a new era. At higher difficulties, the AI earns more free boosts. This was removed in the expansions, but is retained in vanilla rules.

The mod also adds two alternative settings, in which the AI gets fewer or no starting units, and instead gets larger per-turn bonuses to science, culture, production, etc. These rulesets provide similar functionality to the Smoother Difficulty mod by RushSecond, or to my own mod Feudal Ranks for Civilization 5 from way back in 2014. The idea is to give the AI an even progression of bonuses instead of an enormous starting advantage that forces you to play catchup throughout the game.

Note: the mod DOES NOT "improve" AI decision making in any way. However, care was taken to make it compatible with mods such as AI+, which do aim to improve AI strategy and tactics.

Hi Fuzzle, thank you for your response!
I downloaded the file you mentioned and added it as a Non-Workshop mod and it appears to have worked!
So as I understand the original modifier on highest difficulty remains (+9 on Sid Meier) but this additional mod allows us to add an additional modifier "on top" of it in the -6 -- +6 range.

So i added it in the -5 value and it ends up with the +4 combat bonus, same as Deity but applied at the Sid Meier difficulty.

I presume the original buffs ffrom Deity++ mod remain untouched.
Thanks for your assist, can I ask - do you frequent a speciffic Modding community? Which one would you recommend? Maybe a discord?

I haven't released it on here because it's not "finished" as such, but I have uploaded a mod to the google drive linked in the description above. It's Called "Fuzzle_Difficulty_Adjustments." Also sorry, I accidentally deleted your comment, so I hope you still see this.

Hey! How does this work with your other mod "crank up the difficulty?" What bonuses do the AI get on a harder Sid Meier difficulty?

your mod has been translated by onyxum into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.

hi, I'm wondering if it's even possible to play 2v2 on a duel map and beat sid meier difficulty AI. here asking for advice because my friend and i have been failing since last month.

Hi there, I'm wondering what the bonus under "Unit XP" means for the AI? Is it supposed to be a percentage increase or do they just start with that much XP? I have to imagine it would be the former because the latter means they would start with promotion 4, but the table didn't include a percentage sign which left me wondering.
