ACG Legacy 3.4.x

Description
This is the legacy version of Aesthetic Cinematic Gameplay (ACG)
for 3.4.* just before Stellaris Vanilla Update 3.5.* and Toxoid DLC released

Why did i upload this additional outdated version of the mod for Stellaris 3.4.*?

Because some people might want to finish their campaign on 3.4.* and the 3.5.* and Toxoid DLC is a major update, which will require you to start a new game once released. So if you have an old save game with ACG just pre 3.5.* and Toxoid DLC release then use this mod to continue your save-game with 3.4.*.

>> DO NOT USE THIS MOD IF YOU WANT TO USE THE CURRENT MAIN MOD OF: Aesthetic Cinematic Gameplay (ACG)

***News: the bug i described about strikecraft being completely broken by despawning/not shooting was only happening while testing. it does not occur in games. so far so good. unfortunately the bug that i saw since 3.4.* was introduced with strikecraft flying way too high or way too low is still active and needs to get fixed. so even though strikecraft is not completely broken, strikecraft is still bugged. so my old bug report [forum.paradoxplaza.com] could still need further attention by receiving more comments/upvotes so the devs take this bug serious enough to fix it - thank you for any additional upvote/comment- the sooner strikecraft is fixed the sooner i can release my new major update for ACG***

Eh, at this point in my abusive relationship with this game I`m don`t expect to actually play it in the same week as the launch of a patch. This is more like a open beta that they don`t tell us because otherwise would be pretty awkward selling the DLCs together with the patch.
Anyway, bug thread upvoted, I guess if they actually take notice of the bug this one will be solved on a hotfix ASAP, since it`s breaking the most flashiest part of the game.

@Ajey: just ran a smaller version of your same test with 2 stripped down cruisers with only strike crafts pitted against each other which unsurprisingly led to the same result. I added my comments to the bug report. Thanks for alerting us to this major flaw

*** IMPORTANT I was just working on the update for ACG when i realized that while the Stellaris devs seemed to have potentially fixed the issue with strikecraft flying too high or too low, now the devs managed to cause strikecraft to be simply completely broken. This can easily be verified by letting two vanilla battleships with only strikecraft weapons attached to them fight each other. you will see strikecraft is launching and then disappearing. never shooting at anything. even though this is happening in Stellaris without any mods, this is obviously also affecting ACG. therefore i decided to wait with my update for ACG until the devs fixed this major bug. you can help me bring this bug to the devs attention by upvoting and commenting on my bug report [forum.paradoxplaza.com] within the pdx forum. each comment and upvote helps!***

@Ajey, thanks for the answer man. Also, I'm not doing the patches yet, I was just selecting what mods I will use, booting a game in observer mode and letting the AI running while I kept looking for odd behavior between the mods.

@matteo_83 Not only you need this mod, but for every mod that updates you also need a legacy version like this one AND rollback your Stellaris on Steam to the 3.4 version for your save to work properly. The rollback part it's not hard, Ajey can easily help with that if take his offer for help, but the legacy mods part will be complicated, depending on your mod list.
For the future, if you know there's going to be a update and you want to finish your modded save, you should make local copies of your mods, because the Steam Workshop ones WILL update and (very possibly) break your game.

Hi Ajey, i don't understand, after the today update cant i simply roll-back Stellaris and finish my "old" save game with my playset (ACG + your mod list) or i need this legacy mod? Sorry if it is a stupid question, it is the first time i have to face this kind of stuff

@Retrogazer

well like i said before a lot will depend on the fact if paradox devs fixed the strike-craft bug that i was mentioning before. this bug fix is very very important for ACG and has huge implications for how i will proceed but i can't go into more details yet. having said that i would recommend not to build a playlist or build patches for mods before the 3.5.* and toxoid dlc update was released. sorry usually i would provide more detailed information but this time it's difficult because i still did not decide how i best proceed if they did not fix this bug with 3.5.* and toxoid dlc. i hope for your understanding

Hey Ajey, are you planning to add new content or rework things with the new patch or it's just maintenance? Asking because I usually do small patches for myself, so I am preparing my modlist for the Paradox patch with content that your mod doesn't touch.
