More Generic Buildings

Description
Adds a bunch of player exclusive, very expensive buildings that start off weak, but can be upgraded multiple times, becoming somewhat overpowered.

A specific lifestyle trait is required to be able to construct them:

Architect - advanced walls
Scholar - economics university
Strategist - fencing academy
Gallant - archer tower
August - imperial regiments

Grand statue can be constructed without any trait, while the genius trait allows construction of each and any of the buildings. Mind that they can only be constructed in Castle, City and Temple holdings.

This mod can work with other building/holding mods, but it might require a compatibility patch if the other mod overrides the holding file.

Download the mod below if you use both More Generic Buildings and More Buildings Reboot, and make sure to load it after them.

Personally I recommend Holding Manager/More Buildings Reboot to get more building slots, to have enough space for the special buildings, but keep in mind that it might make you severely overpowered.

Got a problem, I have architect trait but can't build Advanced walls.

maybe you can lower flat value but increase percentage ?
(talking about fencing only) : maybe limiting flat value to +20 or so and increase percentage to 150% at lvl 7 ?
you'll have to make more fencing academy to have the same value.

You are definitely right that the building is very powerful, basically no vanilla building comes close to a fully upgraded fencing academy/archer tower. However one lvl 7 academy costs roughly 23k gold and several decades to build, which was my reasoning for giving it so much power, as to my mind there weren't enough money sinks, and ways to build tall in vanilla.

Looking back though I agree that the polynomial scaling on these buildings might be over the top and will try to balance them out when I have some time.

Might also try to differentiate the buffs provided by archer tower and fencing academy, so that they aren't functionally identical, just for different units.

Fencing academy is WAY TOO OP !
I have only 3 of them, one lvl 7, one lvl 5, one lvl 4 a+ a few barracks and here is my huscarls stats : https://i.imgur.com/y5huTNy.png

Since it just adds aditional buildings to the lifestyle traits which are also existent in Elder Kings 2... would it work with EK2. If not i would kindly request a compatibility patch... :)

Some of the buildings feel too OP, such as the one that gives 5 gold each month and a lot of defense
