But the purpose of the mod is to see other people's achievements and announcements, and to interact.
If someone doesn't like it, they can manually disable it or talk about it.
In my experience, no one who's played has complained.

Could you leave these three options enabled by default in the mod?
So that any new player using the mod has them enabled from the start. No need to mess around.
Many people don't know or are unfamiliar with these things in the game and mods, even though they're simple.
The purpose of this mod is interaction and seeing others' achievements and progression, so it's a good idea to have them enabled by default from the start.
