Description
Toggle Auto Attack On & Off.

How To
  • Activate the mod
  • Go to Main Menu > OPTIONS > Key Bindings > Combat > set a key for "Auto Attack Toggle" option (NONE by default)
  • Enter a game with this mod active (can be added / removed anytime)
  • Use the key to Toggle On / Off auto attack

Tips & Tricks
  • With Aiming mod NOT activated your character cannot move while attacking.
  • While your target is on ground your character cannot move while attacking.
  • Works only with melee weapons.
  • Requires ModOptions

Is this cheating ? Maybe but it's like keeping attack button down.
Will this help you ? Maybe but it is more likely to kill you if you use it in combat.

this works perfectly as an AFK calories burning autotool :> I suggest creating a real CaloriesAutoBurn Mod which includes auto attack and auto walk

@linepilegaard I just tested it with that version it does not. There may be a conflict with one of your other mods.

that's perfectly cool my friend - and i totally understand and appreciate the effort you have already put in :-)

i shall use your confidence in the possibility as inspiration for me to go poking around into mods and see if i can work it out :-)

i'm guessing it probably needs some kind of delay before each attack instruction or something like that - or maybe not lol - i shall start with some baby steps - but i have many awesome mods like yours to study to try and learn how these things work

thanks for the update - should i assume it's not possible or way too much hassle to have it work with sound for ranged weapons? (coz it worked, just without the gunfire sound - was kind of surreal just hearing the sound of brass hitting the ground lol)

no rush my friend - as mentioned it's not the intended use case - and the sound works fine for normal attacks with guns

just wanted to let you know - and i may even take the opportunity of having a look into the code to see how you work all of that magic :-)
