Faster Atk Speed

Description
Disclaimer: This mod will give you a fixed ammount of Atk Speed
by removing the "CombatSpeed" code which is what dictates your
ingame atk speed, this means you'll always hit at the same speed
no matter what, even if your arms are completely injured or your
character is tired.

The 3 values ahead will dictate how fast you attack, the higher the
faster

-1Handed weapons have a 1.5 Animation scale

-2Handed weapons have a 1.75 Animation Scale

-Heavy Weapons have a 1.75 Animation Scale

You can change any of these values and at the end of the video
i'll show you how

Workshop ID: 2835895426

is the mod is exactly the same as the workshop id? It doesnt recognize when my friends tried to download it joining the game

eventually the animation just wont play because the speed it is just way too fast. Thats what i did for the "No stunlocks mod", i've set it to 15 i think

hi, i tried changing the values for 1HDefault to 9991.5 (just because), the animation speed doesnt seem to be like super fast or anything. is there like a speed cap/limit that the game sets for every weapon? if possible i want to make some kind of super sword slashing/stabbing animation for the heck of it xD

Is it possible to speed up or remove the delay between repeated attacks? And if so, what value(s) would I have to change in the files?
David Hogins  [author] 17 Dec, 2023 @ 7:25pm
I cant really tell since i never looked at its files, but it is probably possible, i know for a fact that Brutal Handwork does not use [Combat Speed], dont remember why; But if you download his mod there may be similar animation files like the one you edit in this mod. I wont do it myself cause i dont want to meddle with someone else mod and i dont know how to make it a integration to his mod, but its probably doable

Can you make this mod affect Brutal Handiwork offhand weapon attacks too?
David Hogins  [author] 26 Aug, 2023 @ 10:11pm
Yeah you would only change the speedscale values, like how in mine is "1.5". Once you copied the folder to the "mods" in your game, changed the ID, does the game recognize your mod as a separate one?

If the game is recognizing it and you can enable it in the in game mod list there shouldnt be much more to be done about it aside from changing the values.

still doesnt change the attack speed, which line of code would i change? There are multiple instances of <m_SpeedScale>number<m_SpeedScale>. I assume it would be the first one, or maybe I have set the value too high.
David Hogins  [author] 25 Aug, 2023 @ 8:09pm
On the files you'll just have to change the number to a higher value, make sure that my mod is not enabled, otherwise it will overwrite your values

can you send an example of a faster mod? I can't seem to change the speed at which I attack no matter how many things I change
