Mayura (translated from Sanskrit — "peacock") is one of the sacred birds in Hindu mythology, which is mentioned in a number of scriptures revered by Hindus. The modern name of peacock is used by followers of this religion in many parts of India.

The idea of this project appeared during the work. I thought that there are a lot of skins with angry and aggressive animals in the community, but there is no highlight, they are all quite similar to each other. I decided I was missing a bird.

Then the idea began to be drawn from the head, but of course, not without references.


At first, the drawing turned out to be in a more familiar color for the peacock, but it was redone.
