Description
Very-long-range atmospheric data-collection aircraft with a maximum operational altitude of just over 10km. With disposable fuel pods (staged), the Scimitar is capable of circumnavigation of Kerbin with spare fuel for landing circuits and some manoeuvring at a target location. If flown conservatively, it can fly to any location on Kerbin and return to land at KSC.

AG8 - Toggle fuel-dump valve
AG9 - Deploy braking parachutes
AG10 - Thrust-reverse toggle

Also for the record, it glides very well if you run out of fuel an need to make an urgent landing on land or water.
