Keeping the original up for reference.

A R-278 Dugong (https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2783973083) that has been enlarged by about 10%. I compiled a list of things I wanted to change on the R-278 while playing in a medium-sized group in the campaign, and then applied them to this ship.

Overall more breathing room that the R-278 lacked in larger campaigns. Nothing about the XLS sub has been increased toward being OP or unbalanced, most of it being quality of life changes. More dive suit lockers, more linked engineering storage, a larger medbay to make room for a small grow area. Extra junction boxes for engineering. Tiny locked rooms at the stern and bow for the captain, and captain + security. The shuttle is a "Small Shuttle (Ball_Shuttle)" and is an airlocked version of a shuttle I fell in love with, the "Ball_Shuttle"

The shuttle hatch can be closed while it is docked, and the shuttle can cover the blindspot it creates with its own coilgun.

Some small wiring tasks for engineering to keep them busy and not overloading the reactor. Extra junction boxes for engineering flexibility.


Also uploading a version without the shuttle. Items are balanced for the early game, and unchanged from the R-278. Possible clown mask onboard. V3

I also encountered an issue with the ball shuttle not being able to ascend, but I made some changes and tried to replicate it several times and haven't had that issue again. Let me know if you encounter any issues with the shuttle, but it should be 100%

I've worked out some clipping/wiring issues, and given the electrical department a handful of small wiring tasks to complete. (Ie., one of the lamps in the medbay needs power. Power it.)

There is a logbook containing the things I've unwired/unhooked in the captains locker, as well as in the engineering locker. None of the wiring tasks that need to be completed are hugely important, but do improve QoL.
