Description
Zeus Module for Alias's Effects for use in mission without needing Eden Editor.

Found under tabs "Root's Effects" in the "Modules" section. [See Below for Detailed Info]

Current version - 2.0.0

REQUIRED ADDITIONAL ADDONS/DEPENDENCIES:

OPTIONAL/SUPPLEMENTAL ADDON:

Tested completely to work in Single Player and Multiplayer (incl. Dedicated Servers).
Though this mod could be used as client-side, not all modules would work as intended. It is recommended to have all players have this mod loaded to prevent issues. No support is provided for experiencing problems when using as client side.



Feedback/Suggestions/Bugfixes/Review welcome.

Useful for Stalker, SCP, Halloween, F.E.A.R, Horror, Sci-Fi, World War 2 (WW2) or any Themed Missions.

++++ EFFECTS ++++

All Effects can be found in the "Root's Effects" section of the Zeus Menu under 'Modules' tab. All parameters are customizable and tooltips provided for easier understanding.
These effects can be terminated using the 'Terminate Effects' module.

Available Effects:

AAN News Article

  • Displays a fully customizable AAN News Article to all/selected players.
  • Can be displayed immediately or linked to a diary entry with a clickable link to display.

Ambient Fireflies & Sparks

  • Creates firebugs/fireflies in the given area.
  • Creates Sparks that emits at a set time frequency.
  • [NOTE] - Effect cannot be terminated/deleted/modified once placed.

Anti Air (AA) Barrage

  • Fires explosive/anti-air 'projectiles' at set altitude.
  • Can be customized to automatically stop when reaching defined distance threshold.
  • Can be customized to fire 'lethal' / 'fake' projectiles.

Artillery Barrage

  • Creates explosions within configured region.
  • Can be customized to automatically stop when reaching defined distance threshold.
  • Can be customized to fire 'non-lethal' / 'fake' projectiles or only provide background audio.

Aurora Borealis

  • Creates an Aurora Borealis in the position/altitude defined.
  • Can customize speed to make it faster/slower.
  • Will not activate unless night time.
  • Recommended to place it far away from players for the complete 'effect'.

Floating Objects

  • Simulates forbidden Arma physics. Makes objects float and defy everything.

Freeze Players

  • Disables simulation of players, freezing them in place.
  • Can be customized to play any animation.

Meteors/Comets

  • Meteors crashes into the ground near a random players position destroying everything in its impact radius.
  • Comets flyby above a random player.

Missile Launcher

  • Launches fake missiles every X seconds configured.

Searchlights

  • Creates a Searchlight in the defined position.
  • Can be customized to play optional alarm/air-raid sound.

Spacetime Rupture

  • Creates a Spacetime Rupture in the position/altitude defined.
  • Can customize speed to make it faster/slower.
  • Will not activate unless night time.

Tracers

  • Fires a customizable 'fake' projectile in the air.
  • Can be customized to fire different colors.

UFOs

  • UFO - Spawns a UFO above a random player at defined time frequency.
  • UFO Seeker - Spawns a UFO landing next to a random person, moving at fast speeds and going back to orbit. Causes no damage.
  • UFO Cropcircle - Spawns a UFO to create various types of cropcircle in realtime.
  • All UFOs can be customized to spawn at certain time frequencies.

@everyone - I've got professional coders to fix both of my zeus modules. It should alleviate performance and other issues (such as not spawning, not working etc.). ETA: A month hopefully.

the space effects doesnt work in multiplayer anymore. aurora, ruptures, UFOs, etc doesnt work

Same problem as Vernichter91 and several others, the modules are simply, nowhere.
Which is very odd, as I have used this before, only a few weeks ago, and all worked fine.
Same with the supplemental "Roots Anomalies" mod applied. Nothing appears anywhere for that also. Happens whether using both and once or one at a time. Yes, I've got ZEN running, and NO other mods, none at all.

Well I tried to make a scenario map for my mates, and I encountered with the problem. It consist in that only a host with zeus is able to use Root modules same for root's anomalies and the zeus player is able to place the module but it will not work. Is there anyway to fix it?
