HMS Vanguard 1944 (Vanilla)

This is a roughly accurate build of HMS Vanguard. She was built for the water mod and now includes internal bulkheads that can be pressurized. Her internals are purely functional, there are no internal sets.

Vanguard 44 differs from my Vanguard 60 in several way. This build is smaller, does not have AA guns mounted and has far less Subgrids. This means the ship will be much easier on your computer, but is not as pretty or accurate as the 1960 version.

Her turrets are mounted on rotors and each barrel is on a hinge so its fully articulating. But her main barrels are currently conveyors so bring your own barrels. This model is not fitted with AA guns.

HMS Vanguard was a British fast battleship built during the Second World War and commissioned after the war ended. She was the biggest and fastest of the Royal Navy's battleships, the only ship of her class, and the last battleship to be built.The British had enough 15-inch (381 mm) guns and turrets in storage to allow one ship of a modified Lion-class design with four twin-15-inch turrets to be completed faster than the Lion-class vessels that had already been laid down. Work on Vanguard was started and stopped several times during the war, and her design was revised several times during her construction to reflect war experience. These stoppages and changes prevented her from being completed before the end of the war.
