Description


Hello all togther !

Here I have a "promenade tram road" for you. What does that mean ?! Well, it is basically a road that has a wide pedestrian walkway on one side. This side is also "equipped" with a "quay or retaining wall". I´ve created it to be build at the waterfront next to a river or the sea...

The following parts of the description contain examples about what you can do with this road. These "explanations" are not complete, but I think that most of it is self - explanatory anyway. ;)

I might have "over shoot the target" with this road :D ... really :D but I personally like the result. Maybe you do too. :) Hopefully ... it took quite some time. ;)

Important Nodes

  • AN is crucial for this road to work, without it this is a total mess :P
  • AN only provides visual changes ! (this road does not "work" as a quay)
  • Tram Stop - Meshs HAVE to be activated manually (due to the design of the road
    it wasnt possible to have this automatically)
  • The road ONLY works in ONE DIRECTION (this has also to do with the design. The
    game cant handle roads with both tracks on one side and AN doesnt provide options
    to counter that)
  • Some props are not in the dependencies list at the right edge, because
    these are optional for certain "road options"
  • There is obviously a limit on how long these descriptions here can be,
    therefore not everything is covered in it
  • There´s a lot included in this road, therefore I might not have found all "issues/mistakes" etc
    Feel free to point them out when you find them! Thanks ! ;)


  • I REUSED a lot of textues from other roads
  • 2 way 2 lanes
  • tram- but no bus stops
  • tram parts can be removed via AN Segement End Options
  • 2 extra pedestrian walkway foundations
  • 1 extra drive lane foundation (cobblestones / used also in cobblestone road#03)
  • 2 piers, which can be activated
  • various node "connection" - options
  • various prop customisation options
  • etc.

  • the TRAM stop mehses HAVE to be activated manually !
    (due to the fact that the whole tram lane is on side of the road,

  • benches on the walkway avtivated
  • tire fenders activated
  • stilts removed on pier #01 (there are 2 different stilt versions for pier #02)

  • tram tracks removed (only visually! the tram will drive there anyway)

  • other connections are currently not supported


  • Adaptive Networks Mod

  • Tram and Bus Sheltes (also lightweight ... can be deactivated via AN)

All props are optional, but the ones above are "base props" and the ones below
are additonal ones for certain customisation options

Loading Screen Mod - created by thale5, fixed and updated by Klyte45 and
now maintained and improved by algernon.

  • almost all (currently) available road networks use the same texture set

Due to the fact that this road really has an asymmetric design, the rail connections sometimes
bend "weirdly". To counter that I suggest that you increase the corner angle.
Thats possible with any Node Controller Mod.

I updated the section (on the right side) with Move it!, renewed the AN setup, and saved it. On the left side, I left it as it is. See here: https://ibb.co/svzzjG2

@clus As I learned Continues Junction median V2.7 is causing blue nodes. I still have the issue only with this Promenade Road.
