Why do the links and comments keep disappearing?
Because a specific group of angry people keep falsely reporting this mod, and just this mod.




In memory of the beautiful boy, Stumpy, I had to say goodbye to after almost 23 years, here's a vanilla cat overhaul with lots of coat variations, and a fun behaviour that they'll find little presents for you.


  • 16 different coat variations for the vanilla cat, with a redesigned look!


  • None right now.


  • Why?
    - Because I do what I want. :) <3

  • Can I have a list of the gifts they bring?
    - Their most common gifts are cloth, bird leather, rat meat, eggs, and silver. All in small amounts. The rest of the items are a surprise... :)


  • 08/07/2025 - More cats added. I forget how many. Updated to 1.6
  • 24/07/2023 - one more cat added
  • 06/01/2023 - more variants added. There's now 15
  • 01/09/2022 - Added mod options to choose what animals receive the cat's gift behaviour. A game restart is REQUIRED for the changes to take effect.
  • 24/02/2022 - Initial release

- And my response was in no way meant to be harsh or anything. I was simply stating that this mod and that other one aren't going to work together because it's two texture replacements conflicting. I appreciate you looking into it however there's nothing I can do with such a mod as that would require me to add a matching texture from my cats, to theirs, and I just have too many.

I see now that someone else also reported that so I mostly wasted hours of my time yesterday by overlooking it, but that's on me.

Wow, I'm sorry- I was just trying to be kind and let you or anyone else know if they run into the same thing and are like me and have hundreds of mods making it hard to tell, especially because you didn't have anything listed in the mod conflicts section. My cat of 16 years passed the other day and it was important to me that I could figure out what was causing the error so I could have a cat in my game that looked like him as a small comfort, which I really appreciated. I'm sure someone else could've figured it out faster but it took me hours, I'm sure in part because my brain is just melted after this terrible week. Thanks for the response, Erin.

- of course they do. This is a texture replacement and, at its core, that one is too. They aren't going to ever work together unless I add a ton of extra textures and I'm sorry but I can't spare the time for that.

Hi Erin! Apologies if this has already been reported but it looks like this mod has a conflict when used with the Situational Animal Graphics mod (https://steamproxy.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3325889359) . When cats are tamed they turn completely white even if they were a different texture previously, took me a while to figure it out so I wanted to share. Thanks for the lovely work you do!

Just throwing this out there, but I like to use the Rats! mod, and in my medieval fridge-less world I have to deal with that a lot, would be killer if there was a "Hunt Vermin" action that's specific to cats that makes them better at something than dogs.
