Dexterity "Mastering reality"

he Medium interplanetary multipurpose Frigate is built for lightness and reliability. With multiple offensive and defensive capabilities, it is perfectly suited for any survival situation. Styled to meet the aesthetic of games like Star Citizen it still stays true to the principle of form following function. With enormous fire power, a small ship Printer and several extra functions, it is more than a frigate it is the multipurpose powerhouse.

Design Feature

  • Rocket Battery: 4 reloadable rocket Launchers make sure you can take on capital ships
  • Custom Turrets: 2 Custom Turrets with 19 Gatling guns each
  • Guided Missile Launcher: 4 Guided Missile Launchers with 4 Warheads each.
  • Turret Supremacy: 8 Gatling Turrets, 4 Rocket Turrets and 10 Interior Turrets give you the firepower to destroy multiple targets at once.
  • Small Grid Printer/repair system: Printer Repair system to build and repair every DMI small grid craft within 2 min.
  • Welder/Projector Repair System: 29 welders make sure weapons and engine get repaired and replaced when destroyed
  • Redundant Bridge: one Fly Bridge for great view and improved flying and a Battle cockpit for increased Survivability
  • Orientation steering: using the "Q" and "E" Buttons to rotate and pulling up makes sure all 12 large thrusters are pushing the Dexterity the way you want to go. while keeping the craft light and agile.
  • Multipurpose Hangar Bays: 2 ramp accessible Hangars with 240 Large Blocks of hangar space for 6 Large small grid Fighters.
  • Industrial Production: 2 refineries upgraded with 8 yield modules and 2 assemblers with 3 speed modules
  • Crew Area: Relaxing habitation rooms with beds, Kitchen, couch, tables and cryochambers for a crew of 6
  • Landing gear: 4 Landing gears make sure you can land on Planets and moons.

hm it could be that the piston speed is to fast. try lowering it.

After further trail and error, it seems the only way you can successfully print larger ships like the katana in earth gravity is by placing a landing leg on the ore detector at the rear of the dexterity, standing it up on end and printing it that way. Also, the completed print takes multiple passes

I have had to do some reprogramming of timer blocks, rotors, etc. But the ship printer system issue was some kind of disagreement with the NanoBot Build and Repair mod. I'm not all too sure as to why the pistons are going floppy when I attempt to print the Katana Interplanetary Fighter, but I think it has something to do with me being on earthlike and the gravity. I have made sure that 'share inertia tensor' is selected, to no avail. Next I will attempt to print a much smaller ship and/or attempt the print with the Dexterity Standing up on end 😀

3ch0_17 about the subgrid issue, it could be that the subgrid groups are not set up correctly. i would recommand that you look at the ship in creative and then set it up in survival. hope that helps

Thankyou, I did find it. I've decided to use this ship for survival by means of blueprinting all of the subgrids and then printing out the ship and its individual parts and putting them back together. My current issue is that I cannot get the ships printer system to work as intended, or at all really. The pistons go floppy and the welders don't pull components from the ships inventory. I've been troubleshooting it for the last few hours to no avail - I've got a few ideas how to fix it, though

Hello 3ch0_17, thank you for your comment. Maybe Battle Bridge is a bit misleading. There is a Cockpit in the back with a LCD in front of it. Its, much more protected and located next to the cryo pods. Hope that helps

Hello, I love the build but I have one minor issue: The description makes mention of a Battle Bridge but there isn't one. Again, not a huge issue, but I was hoping for some form of protection for the mostly-glass Bridge.

switch to creative mode build the comand seat or cockpit and set up all Buttons. delet the block under it and aim for the Seat/Cockpit Pres Ctrl+C. press CTRL+V and add the seats/cockpits to the grid. hope that helps

sadly ther is no duplicate button. you cann set up one in creative and copy paste it but you will still have to adjust it.
