- Customize starting year
- Customize starting cbills
- Customize starting faction (defines starting planet, etc.)
- Customize number of starting mechs
- Customize the type of randomized starting mechs by battle value.
- Customize the number of starting pilots.
- Customize the randomized starting XP of your pilots
- Random pilot generation with optional level cap max.

COMPATIBILITY
=============
- Compatible with pretty much everything (except for MT of course)
- Does not change the existing start options, only adds a new one which can be customized

Actually nevermind, I think I understand now, it's the same starting locations as the various factions in the regular starts, Dragonriders start in the same place as Dragon's Gambit (which I don't have) while Serpent's Fang start at the same spot as Rise of Rasalhague, while Revenants start at the same spot as Call to Arms etc. Correct?

You say the starting faction determines the starting planet, can I get a list of the exact starting locations, especially for factions I've never heard of and don't seem to exist in lore or are extremely obscure? I'm guessing Iron Cestus are around Solaris, Dragonriders are around house Kurita, and Serpant's Fang are around Rasalhague and Revenants are uh.... ????

Considering the rate at which comments are piling up here, the author should:

1) Release the source so those with spare time can get this working again. Otherwise, the people's only choice is to spam the author.

2) Put a big warning at the top of the description that says "deprecated" or "no longer working".

seems that this mod crashes the game when you load your save after the last update now i made a new game with just this mod installed and tried to load it and it poped up and said error then closed the game out

would be nice to choose excatly what mechs youd like to start with

like for i wanna start with a bunch of urbies but otherwise great mod

Starting Postiions for Steiner and Kurita are not good. Wehn you start AFTER Invasion then Kurita Startpoint is in Clan Territory :steamfacepalm:
