Description
Mod adapt noises of industrial machines and fire, flies to player position
by doing so mod improve feeling of moving around your own base, towns or just camps with camera, character and squad

Detailed Description

mod affect only hearing range of sound effect, don't add or remove them, not even flies

Mod just make that you don't hear Noises as loud without having camera closer to the source of the sound

Results are quite pleasing

Mod was inspired by user Natty who wanted to mute fire sounds

this mod does not mute anything but solution i used give such effect on zoom out

Affected sounds machinery:

Grain Silo
Wells
Furnance
Oven
Bonfire
Workbench
Wind generator
Biofuel destill
Power generator
Auto-mines
Drills

Affected sounds of other things:

Flies
fire cracks

Mod don't affect combat noises
Compatibility and load order
Mod should have no conflict with other mods
Can be used in middle of playthru without importing
Ideally you can load it after world gen mods
Mod does not slowdown loading speed of the game

Small note: this time i used this more as suggestions rather than totally realistic simulation, kenshi have many realistic, but not available devices and machines that could only be measured by their in-game sound and size

It seems like water tanks just passively generate the sound even if they're not being used, which is why I was always so confused as to what it was.

This mod honestly does a lot to uh, make it less annoying, so thanks, it's pretty much manageable with Calm Ambient Sound unless you zoom in really close.

to be perfectly honest i had no idea water tank make zombie noises
also i feel very stupid now, because i been fxiing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in this game for so long
that now if someone make up stupid story like water tank zombie i would believe it xD
thank you for your test i will double-check it and try to maybe mute it myself? i m not sure if its right idea
as mod wasn't supposed to mute any sounds...yet im pretty sure water tanks don't make noises in reality unless you interact with them

Thanks for this one, I am hoping this will keep me sane. I just realized that one of the spooky noises that I THOUGHT was innate to Fog Islands, is actually tied - of all things - to the Water Tank.

I was wondering why upon stopping at the Waystation in Border Zone why I could hear the sound of a zombie moaning into a metal pipe, so I installed this mod. Then I narrowed it down, to, a Water Tank. The Water Tank, the thing that stores water, makes this inhuman noise just by being near it. Wow.

Honestly I'd rather mute it altogether because why does a water tank make sound randomly, but you know this is fine too.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I suffer from sensory overload, and managing a player base was driving my CRAZY with all the noise! This makes it much easier to handle.

i m afraid modding community not even me can do that, kenshi used some closed audio conversion to add own sounds and this method disallow adding new sounds
maybe if you find some voicepack mod for kenshi or voiced companion they will have technology for it, but i never seen anything like this and i can't do

if you wan't best performance kenshi have ever seen? i did that already
fix for pathfinding that works nicely and came with own program to make compatibility? done
Animations that makes people more believable and works clean with no crashes? done
complete redesign of rendering methods for particle effects lowering vram usage by 30%? done
i don't have strength, software and manpower to work on adding new sounds
i will do my own impossible, but slowly
