Zatch Bell: The Card Battle Online (SET 14 NOW AVAILABLE)

"Zatch Bell: The Card Battle" was the name for the official Zatch Bell CCG that was a huge hit in Japan back in the early 2000's and saw the official release of four sets, 2 starter decks, and 4 (technically 2) structure decks overseas until its unfortunate cancellation.

This card game is extremely unique, as it gives players the ability to wield their own spell book and take any mamodo they want into battle! Re-enact classic fights from the series with a card moment of just about every character and spell in the franchise... or form the most unlikely of teams and re-invent the story of Zatch Bell however you want! There are countless combinations and limitless possibilities!

The Zatch Bell CCG Scanlation Team has worked hard for over a year now to revive this horribly underrated card game in all its glory, with the goal of raising its potential to far beyond what was possible in the real life tabletop game!

As of Christmas of 2021, you will FINALLY be able to play the card game in a faithful and competitive online environment, with a TON of exciting new features!

1. Includes a BRAND NEW, FULLY UPDATED rule book that has been directly translated from the currently up-to-date final rule book of the Japanese version of the game (with some added pages and sections for Tabletop Simulator).

2. ALL 473 cards that were officially released in English have been carefully re-created with updated errata to match the new concepts in the updated rule book, including all promo cards and the bonus cards that come with the separately sold spell books.

3. Easily search through cards in any deck and find exactly what you're looking for with card search terms that can be found in the back of the new rule book!

3. Mistakes that were previously featured in the text of officially released cards (such as M-024 Robnos mentioning a "Belights" spell card, the +4000 Power rating on M-010 Kolulu (Transformed), and the missing Damage numbers on Eshros' spells S-065 Groundam and S-066 Grandbao, etc.) have all been corrected for the recreated versions.

4. Officially released cards that have a revised effect in the English game have been given two different versions of the card: one with the changed English effect and one with its original Japanese effect. These can be swapped back and forth with the "state change" feature on Tabletop Simulator.

5. All Rare and Super Rare cards (as well as holofoil cards in officially released decks that were of a lower rarity) have been treated with an animated foil effect that can be toggled on and off at will.

6. Includes a carefully coded, custom-made opened Spell Book model that can be colored however you want and is capable of holding a deck of cards that can generate those cards on top of the pages. The pages of the book have a label to keep track of what number you're on and can easily be cycled through with buttons. On top of that, all cards in your book are hidden from your opponent by default, and can be shown to the opponent as you please! The spell book object is even capable of resetting itself and deleting all cards on your side of the table for a fresh start!

7. The iconic "Zatch coin" from the starter sets is also included, and comes in red, silver, or gold using the "state change" feature on Tabletop Simulator.

8. An all-new game mat that can support as many additional mamodo and partner cards as physically possible (cards that will be released in the future will let you have more than 3 in play at a time), and supports the new STAY/STANDBY system (as well as a place to put your MJ12 cards) has been created exclusively for Tabletop Simulator!

9. Each mamodo card has been specially coded to automatically generate a label that displays their power level once they've been put in play! The power can be adjusted at will with nearby buttons, and likewise, each spell card has been coded to be able to automatically do the power calculation once you pull the card out of the book and play it beneath the mamodo!

10. All 8 officially released page shields in the English version have been added as well! They are no longer needed to hide a page from your opponent, but can now instead be used as bookmarks when you're cycling through pages of your book and need to remember what page you're on. More info on this can be found on pg. 49 of the new rule book.

11. A music player has been included that has high-quality uploads of the official Konjiki no Gash Bell OST (some of which can't be found on YouTube!) and what was officially released of the English dub Zatch Bell OST! The playlist totals 92 songs ranging from battle tracks to instrumentals of fan-favorite insert songs from the show!

12. MORE CARDS AND CUSTOM SETS PROVIDED BY THE ZBCCG SCANLATION TEAM WILL BE ADDED IN THE FUTURE!!!

13. We've also thrown in TWO bonus cards to celebrate the Christmas release! They have been included in the custom "5th set" for the English version as well!

14. Even beyond what was officially released in JAPAN, plans for this project to include custom-made cards featuring manga-exclusive content is also in the works thanks to the ZBCCG Extension Project!

15. Support for a few other languages will be added in the future!
