Description
A large submarine for a crew of 8-12 players. Comes with a support drone.

ジュナ・ドーマ

The "Juna Doma"
is beauty in functionality and simplicity. Designed with features and comfort similar to a mobile base, she will provide you with an comfortable experience for adventures full of action with a strong focus on extravehicular activities.

(My creations were made in this order: Liscia, Aisha, Tomoe and now Juna - the image shows a scene where Liscia gets comforted by Aisha for her being jealous towards Juna for getting the exclusive attention of the king at that moment - the light novel series on which the names I use for my creations are based is absolutely worth it! Check "現実主義勇者の王国再建記" / "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom")

Clearly not reflecting the true and natural Barotrauma experience where everything is dark and tight, this ship is more for big parties who want a joyride, or those experienced players who have seen everything already and just want to reward and enjoy themselves with a beautiful ship.

Built entirely from scratch she is made to support the crew I am playing with, providing them with plenty of fulfilled wishes they had for a ship. She is very easy to manage that even beginners will have a good time with her, thanks to many features which are in comparison to vanilla ships pure luxury.

Aside from a few assets based on inspirations from other workshop items, she is a true original, with plenty of functions which might surprise you. Even if it is just a matter of design ~

  • Secrets

About the reactor modi, here is a note from the "Aisha", an "older" submarine I created before:

About Reactor Modes I have tested all three modes with full speed while having two fuel rods inserted. The power consumption looks somewhat like this: Undervolting After 2 minutes 4% After 4 minutes 7% After 6 minutes 10% After 8 minutes 13% Performance After 2 minutes 8% After 4 minutes 16% After 6 minutes 23% After 8 minutes 29% Fuel Efficiency After 2 minutes 6% After 4 minutes 10% After 6 minutes 15% After 8 minutes 20% Roughly you can say: Undervolting -> +50% -> Fuel Efficiency -> +50% -> Performance In comparison when it is set to automatic mode without any special "Magic Wiring" Automatic Mode After 2 minutes 7% After 4 minutes 14% After 6 minutes 21% After 8 minutes 27% Considering that: why should I use "Magic Wiring" and e.g. Performance mode to begin with? The reason is, that the "Magic Wiring" makes it much safer to use multiple rods at once, and the reactor reacts much faster to power spikes (combat e.g.). Also, the automatic suspension of the reactor during docked state saves significant amounts of fuel the time you are docked to a station. Please keep in mind that those values above are made under testing conditions for the purpose of comparing the different modes. The actual fuel consumption during normal play, with additional fabricators, deconstructors, pumps, etc. running can and will differ.

Either way: running the reactor in automatic undervolting mode prevents your electrical devices from taking too much damage. But be careful triggering the different modi!

If you also want a reliable Respawn Shuttle, check this other creation of mine:

Tomoe comes with extra firepower and equipment to rescue you in cases of emergency!

どうもありがとうございます!
Thank you for checking out this submarine! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

And sorry for my bad English. It is not my native tongue.

If you have fun playing with this ship, please consider

It would encourage me to make and share more workshop items in the future.

This submarine has been made with and for Barotrauma v0.15.13

"Juna Doma" is a fictional character from the light novel series 現実主義勇者の王国再建記. As a member of the "Sea Princess'" special black ops commando unit of the navy, she infiltrated the ranks of the king of Elfrieden as a songstress, to find out about his character. Touched by his ideals and wishes for the nation she joined his ranks quickly, supporting him in many ways, mainly with the magic of music. "NDF" stands for "National Defense Force". And Maxwell Arcs is a reference to the overscientist Genia Maxwell Arcs in the series, who is responsible for unbelievable high tech in a world of fantasy and magic. Despite the design looks overpowered in Barotrauma, this is not meant as a battle ship, but more sort of an exploration ship/mobile base. Like the Intrepid-class from "Star Trek" ~

Design inspiration for a few asset combinations has been taken from PhoeniX (ID:2667566856) by Daisycutter, while the reactor controller is from (ID:2654926991) by Lightning and kwogger, together with the airlock system (ID:2625060379) by kwogger.

If you like the implementations which you can recognise, especially of the reactor controller, I encourage you strongly to check on those other Steam workshop items as well and give them a good rating and favourism to reward those awesome designers and creators.
