Description
Freezer
Supported game version: Vanilla & DLC Spaced Out!

Mod adds a new building - a freezer. It will keep your food at a deep freeze temperature (-19°C).
You will still need the Sterile atmosphere to completely block spoilage.

It uses the same mechanics as the refrigerator/fridge.

Capacity: 200kg
Active cooling consumption: 480w
Power save mode consumption: 40w

Building menu: Food
Research node: Finer dining

Needs updated, the in game mod configuration option hard crashes the game.

It looks like the mods ‘Freezer’ and ‘Waste Not, Want Not’ have a bug where dupe repeatedly puts food that is below a set freshness level into the Freezer and then automatically drops it out. I don't know which of the two mods is causing the problem.

@edu As far as I know, no matter the temperature, food will spoil in a non sterile atmosphere (even below -18°C)

today I learned that the vanilla refrigerator will HEAT UP items it contains, when plugged in

I unsubscribed from in-game and re-subscribed and it worked. Had to do it from in game rather than directly from the workshop outside of the game.
