Safaripark Beekse Bergen 1:1.5 scale Recreation (Phase 1)

Description
Welcome to my recreation of Safaripark Beekse Bergen, a Dutch zoo located in Hilvarenbeek.
Since the start of January 2020, I have been working on recreating the zoo as faithfully as I can and now it is finally sort of finished!

The entire walking route as it was before the temporary closure in 2020 is complete, so there is plenty to explore!

During phase 2 of the project, which will be starting soon, I will update the zoo to its current state (including the new Black Rhino Area) and add anything currently missing (mostly the car safari).

So, with all of that said, I hope you enjoy your time at the zoo!

Custom Content!
This zoo features a few billboards, custom audio as well as a couple of "new species" mods. You don't have to download them to enjoy the zoo, but they are a nice addition.
If you don't intend on using mods, consider downloading the non-modded version of the zoo, which replaces all modded animals with appropriate in-game ones.

Billboard content:
You can download the billboard files here.[drive.google.com]
To install them, just download the files and drop them into "C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo\UserMedia". Be sure not to change the file names as they won't show up on the billboards that way.

Audio content:
You can download all the audio files here.[drive.google.com]
To install them, just download the files and drop them into "C:\Users\YOUR NAME\Documents\Frontier Developments\Planet Zoo\UserMusic". Be sure not to change the file names as they won't show up that way.

New Species mods:
Here are all the links of the various mods I've placed in the zoo. They are not required to open the zoo, but do add a lot. Again, you can also download the non-modded version of the zoo, which replaces all modded animals with appropriate in-game ones.

If you don't know how to install these, just have a look at this short tutorial by NicholasLionRider.

Compare for yourself!
If you are unfamiliar with the real life zoo and would like to see how my creation compares, I’ve got you covered! I’ve created a photo album of a selection of my (9000+) reference photos that guides you through the zoo. It also features some bits of texts explaining how to walk.. I hope you don’t get lost haha.
You can find it here[photos.app.goo.gl].
If you’d rather look at all the all photos you can check out this album[photos.app.goo.gl] instead, note that this album is not very organized.

Don't get lost (in translation)!
To help all you people unfamiliar with the zoo, and non-Dutch speaking people, I translated the Zoo map into English, and provided some translations to the words found on some of the signs in the zoo! Hope it helps!

Stay up to date!
If by any chance you are interested in following the future developments of the project, you can do so by subscribing to my Youtube channel, where I post videos on the building process.
You can also reach me on Twitter if you have any questions or suggestions regarding the project! My handle is @justGoron. I also post updates and screenshots on my twitter from time to time when I’m working on new videos.

Can't run it?
If you have running or opening the zoo, you can try the "light" versions of the zoo, which has no animals, guests and staff, making it much less taxing on your computer. Hopefully that will at least allow you to explore the zoo a bit!
Find the light version here:

Credits
Just one more thing, throughout buildings the zoo I have used some wonderful blueprints from the steam workshop! It would be wrong to not give credit where credit is due so I have created a collection of all the files I’ve used as well as a google docs document[docs.google.com] listing them all individually.

Enjoy your time in the zoo!

Looks incredibly real! While looking at some of your comparison-pics, at first sight, I would have mistaken the in-game one for the real photo :-O
Awesome!

Schitterend! :-)
