Pitstop

Description
Pitstop is a map mod located between Rosewood and Muldraugh.
To server owners, feel free to add our mods to your modpacks. We grant permission to all.

This map strongly requires the additional tile packs. If you have any tile issues please make sure you have 2x textures enabled and you also have all the tiles turned on in your modlist!

This map also contains InverseFlux's cell dedicated to a space museum and a lab. Lots of zombies, lots of custom gear.

Should still probably remove some since theres a fine line between difficulty and tedium and this crosses it more then a few steps. It's just tedious after a point with so many

@Prysh One of the points of the map is to serve as a difficult roadblock between Rosewood and Muldraugh, aiming to make the game more challenging for seasoned players who find it easy to move back and forth between the towns. Obviously, this approach might not be for everyone but it was one of the main reasons we made the map :cherrypie:

Too many roadblocks takes too much effort to clear them. I suggest reducing the number of obstacles in future versions.

@Lonely Knightess We have a lot of changes planned which we will work on when B42 is out. We are aware of the texture issues and will resolve this when we return to modding. In regards to the meme items we put in we will be making them a separate entity to the map. You will still be able to get these items on the map but it will require an additional provided mod/option. This is so Pitstop can feel closer to Vanilla as it was intended originally.

@Lonely Knightess When it comes to weapons, it varies. Some are designed to complement the buildings we place them in, but ultimately, we created these maps for our own enjoyment. While there might be aspects that some people don't like, we're always open to people making edits to suit their preferences, as long as it's not just a clone upload we're cool with it. Regarding the image/file sizes, we'll certainly look into that when we return to the mod to get it working for B42. Thanks for bringing it to our attention! :spiffo:

It should be noted that images above 2048x2048 can cause memory leaks, I sorted every image file in the 400+ mods I have downloaded by size and the top of the list is a bunch of Pitstop meme item textures in both file size and aspect ratio.
