The Northern Irishman Sleeper Express

Description
According the original timetable you'll depart at 1.01 am. You will encounter a lot of freight traffic arounf Carlisle. Once passing Gretna Green Junction the amount of traffic reduces. It goes easy to Dumfries, but then your skills are needed to overcome some of the steep slopes on your hard run to Stranreat in the middel of the night. Almost no traffic and then keep up your attention to the track and signals for more than 3 hours. Are you able to run this amazing run without saving in the middle of the night? This version of the Northern Irishman is based on the plain Port Road DLC so no other DLC is needed except the European asset pack. Other versions based on this scenario will be soon available here. The Image shows the passage at Kingmoor.

Hmm, strange indeed. I do have the SSS and AP soundpacks on though....I might try it again next weekend, when I have the time for a scenario that long.

I realy can not tell you because you are the first one with this issue. I run a MSI GE60 with a Core i5 16GB memory and a Gforce GT 750 M onboard. Though the system is quite low it all functions as it should do

Tried the same with the Scotsman version and that first crashed logmate which I had running to see what was causing the problem, and then Railworks itself.

The error type was classified as C00005.
Running it on Windows 7 64-bit, with 8 Gigs of RAM and a GTX 570 1.25 GB VRAM.

Tried running this for a list of scenarios that are accessible to new players with little DLCs, but it has so far crashed twice on loading.
Any ideas?

Really great scenario, best I've played. On reaching Stranraer I get an operational error for the harbour gate so cannot complete the scenario, so near but so far!!!

To date this has been my most enjoyable scenario, quite hard work keeping up at them hills then stopping speeding on the downsides, I even took on water to add to the authenticity as I was wondering how it worked and then finally to the harbour and it was wow I made it ^^

It certainly was a grind for me and trying to imagine what it would have been like chugging up them steep inclines, great fun :D

Hi Colin, Thank you for your comment. It is not natanaelf86 creating the scenarios but his father using the same account of natanael. Check out who Mr de Visser is at http;/steamtrainsunlimited.webs.com .
Natanael is practicing building routes and his father (R.C. de Visser) does signalling and scenarios.
You can also refer to the guide he created: "Driving the steam locomotive and the techical aspects."

Regards,

R.C de Visseer

Hi natanaelf86, Wow! What an excellent scenario to operate, I really did enjoy taking part in this masterpiece. Plenty of other traffic on route, weather effects and the sky colours were amazing so I guess this was the summer season in the western highlands of scotland. Ahh! what great memories it brings back from my early days of railway potty fatigue, ha-ha. Thanks for sharing Nat & all the best to you and your family. (COLIN.D.) Aberdeen, Scotland, U.K.

Enjoyed this superb scenario equally as much as the F Scotsman scenario, even though it took me longer to get to Stranraer, so much longer that the signal at Challoch jt'n was green when I got there. Thats me done, completed all your scenarios up to press. Hope there's more to come. Cheers.
