Description
Team Spectate
Team Spectate lets you view your team mates’ screen.
This mod only works in Multiplayer. The Menu button is below the team selector.

How it works:

If you click on a player button other than your own, you start spectating the other player.
To exit the spectating mode press the player button again or press your own player.

You can NOT spectate players that are dead, in a different team than you, or don't exist.
Everyone can spectate players that are in no team.

If you can't spectate a player, their player head button turns grey.

You can also cycle different players using a hotkey (you have to set it fist)

You are also able to spectate a boss by clicking its button in the same menu.

If you die you automatically spectate the closest player (can be turned off).
When you respawn you automatically stop spectating (can also be turned off).

This mod is licensed under the GNU GPLv3 license.
If you use any code from this mod you have to open source it under the same license and give credit in your mod's description.

if someone death and the living players will spectate other people too，please fix this bug

I want to use this mod with my friends and we are playing with infernum, we intend to use the "spectate on death" function but it looks like from earlier comments that there is a bug that living players seem to also spectate uncontrollably. Has there been any fixes to this bug? If not I'll just tell my friends to disable the auto "spectate upon death" thanks in advance!

having the same issue as @galactic as well. amazing mod but the bug makes it borderline unusable

My friends and I are connected to Terraria through intranet penetration
During the process of using this mod, I found that when I used hotkeys (set by myself) to watch other players, the perspective of everyone I played with was also on that person, and in the end, I couldn't solve this problem.
Is there any operation that can temporarily solve this problem?

I'm having the same problem as @galactic where whenever someone dies, everyone spectates the closest player instead of just the person who died.

We turned off the setting to automatically spectate upon death, which fixed the problem, but it would be nice to have that feature working.

This mod is really good early game before you can stack up on wormhole potions, so you can show all the cool stuff you find when you are playing with 10+ mods :steamthumbsup: :D :terraria:
