Version 2 of the Anaxes main line of maps, authorized by 122Jimbo himself as more of a stop-gap till he wished come back around with the project!
(122Jimbo refused contributor as he only prefers to be contributor in projects hes touched on)

This version moves to make the map alot more RP-able, event-rich, and staff-lax.

Note: [TSF] Mason will come around occasionally to servers that use this map, to get feedback!

I wished to raise that bar for what a ground base map is about, and down with personal made community maps that plaster their logo all over the thing, ruining it... so, here it is!

Map Itself
  • Requires nothing
  • Comes with a NodeGraph for easier load in
  • Accommodate 128 players
  • Run well with the 128 players - as long as there isnt NPC spam or special effects.
  • Hyper optimization (nearly every room is optimized to only render that one room when the door closes) Ontop of prop & ent render distances, and chunk load areas.

Sims
  • New standard sim added, both sims isolated a bit better.
  • Added Env-Sims, located outside map to not bother main map area
  • Most of the env-sims are noded for AI.
  • Used larger (but simpler) Citadel sim, relocate outside map to not bother main map area
  • Relocate OOC lounge, outside map to not bother main map area
  • All 'out of map' teleport located at the 2nd floor super structure, across from the messhall.

CR Room and DB
  • CR Relocated to surface to make more sense
  • Added 'airlock' to the CR room to prevent escape
  • Added open door ability to keep a door open in CR room for new people to walk out (if server wants, or they can close it)
  • Removed previous spawn room as its now useless
  • DB Relocated
  • DB reconfigured

Brig and Medbay
  • Remade brig from 9 personal cells to 4 public cells, 1 solitary cells
  • Added mini-court room
  • Security bunks expanded
  • Security DB changed
  • Removed extra windows on Medbay
  • Added 3 working bacta tanks to the medbay
  • Dedicated bunks given to the medbay (its the large room)
  • Added Annax/Lab to medbay
  • Added quarantine zone inside of Annax/Lab of medbay
  • Annax and Quarantine will contain the Gbombs T-Virus!

Control Room
  • Added battle map table with changable maps
  • Added large meeting/council table to the right side of control room
  • Moved some controls out of the button room, next door, into the control room
  • Added server farm to control room
  • Added consoles and displays
  • added atmosphere breach alert

Surface Level
  • Added large main bay door to the front of the facility
  • Relocated the 2 towers in landing pad area to the side walls
  • Removed some windows in the towers to shoot out of, making them actually useful
  • Added lights to towers and some other areas of the outside of the map (including new light poles)
  • Remade outer gate to a physical shield
  • External auxiliary generator to power surface systems (lights, gates, radar)
  • Added 3 primary landing pads to the base (+1 for looks, but can be made as a 4th if need-be)
  • Enlarged one hangar space and enlarged a door space to fit UT-ATs through
  • Added radar array to the base that rotates (can be turned off, when it is, will disable atmosphere detection system)
  • Removed 2 elongated buildings from surface
  • Extension to main hangar storage area
  • Added secondary gates inside the base
  • Enlarged the outside base parameter wall and skoot'd some of it out
  • Reworked supply/armory
  • Hangar bay given a simple ramp in and out
  • Hangar bay door look changed slightly
  • Bathrooms added
  • Washroom/locker room added
  • Vent teleports
  • Moved side hangar door control to the hangar rather than it being in 3rd floor.
  • Base now has a top area
  • Air/Vent utility area added to the top
  • Communications antenna added to the top
  • Small outpost added to the top

Outside Base Area
  • Removed comms tower in forest to make proper staging zone for hostile landing craft and event area
  • Flattened terrain infront of waterfall's lake.
  • Jedi temple relocated and tucked away as a 'jedi sanctuary' rather than a 'temple'.
  • Jedi Sanctuary had 2 sets of archive cases removed for room for tables or other items added to that area by the server.
  • Jedi sanctuary had the middle column of its computer systems removed as it just wasnt needed.
  • Jedi sanctuary ampitheater edited a bit and added a darkening effect to the room with spotlight in center
  • Sky given a cloud layer (atmosphere point)
  • Expanded skybox by 3x
  • Added a overhead staging point from GMs, in the back-right corner of the map. (for launching ships, so they dont have to start on the ground)

MISC
  • Mostly noded map
  • Remove all teleports (they really just wernt used on any server iv been to due to RP sake)
  • Base commander's room has been extended
  • Base commander given a personal sleeping quarters
  • New base alarm sound
  • If anything (but players) passes the cloud layer (Ships, props, entities, ect), an alarm will sound in the control room ("landing vehicle entering atmosphere", turn off radar to disable the warning system! =Event idea=)
  • Simplified and fixed some geometry and render systems
  • Optimized brushes
  • Removed some non-needed eye candy items
  • Admin sit room/credit room/GM room added (room is above the commander's room)
  • Added a ship crash event, triggerable by GM room.
  • Massive soundscape overhaul to bring the environments more to life, make things dynamic, and better for the ears.

Large changes to the map are on the way. last round of changes will involve the shrinking of the Jedi Sanctuary (in general size, not rooms)
