Since last update, civilian factories, military factories and dockyards limits have been changed to 10000 per state. This is necessary for the mod to work as it relies on offmap factories. It is technically not game breaking as you can still only build 25 per state, but you could have for example, 25 civilian factories in one state.

Welcome to Hearts of Malta!
This mod gives Malta a unique focus tree and a unique way to be played. Between memes and gameplay, you're in for a good time.


This mod is inspired by April's Fool HoI4 Dev Diary[forum.paradoxplaza.com]. It contains a whole new focus tree, custom icons, events, decisions, puppets, empires, and even a custom GUI. With the help of the Tower, you can do anything.

This mod was made in a little more than a month. It was mostly to try out new possibilities to code the game, giving us ideas for our Other Mods.
Bug reporting and feedback are always appreciated, but stay respectful in the comments.
The AI can now play Malta and use the custom GUI as well.

Note that this mod makes Malta a dominion of the United Kingdom at the start of the game. It is purely fictional and is not meant to be historical in any way. We're also aware of the poor quality of the portraits. They will be fixed later.

The mod is most likely compatible with any mod that doesn't overhaul the vanilla game, as long as they do not interfere with Maltese files.
