Ballahoo V1: The Great Western

Description
Welcome to Ballahoo V1

Ballahoo V1 is an expansive project hoping to recreate a network of routes based on the island of Sodor. All routes will hopefully be fully recreated at some time.

The first instalment: 'The Great Western' focuses on the branch line from Teaside along the coast as far as Harlsbrough where it then runs into the Haywick line NOW RELEASED.
Bearing much resemblance to its Sodor counterpart (the little western) the route is mainly coastline as far as Haultreath a fishing village where the route turns inland through a forest before reaching Harlsbrough, the terminus for trains from Teaside.

Requirements:
-EU loco and asset pack (Required)
-West Somerset Railway (Required)
-US loco and asset pack (Required)
-Bristol - Exeter
-Riviera Line: Paignton - Exeter
-London - Brignton
-US loco and asset pack
-Hudson Line
-Academy (included with game)

Watch out for further lines to be released in due course, thanks for all the support and feel free to message me about helping or any problems you may have.

Notes: When first spawning or creating scenarios, you will find yourself in the middle of nowhere this is due to the origin of the route being down at Lapford. You can easily 'fly' wherever you want to go or simply use the editor teleport tool.

Some of the point work especially at Teaside are a bit inefficient, meaning shunting trains 'spill' onto the mainline when shunting. This is a deliberate design feature which will later be completely re-done in a later version.

Mainly for the elevator at Harlsburgh which atm is used for storage. I believe there are some foliage used as well. If you don't mind floating track you could make do without this:steamhappy: Hope this helps:train1:

Yeah, that tends to be a heritage railway thing. Explains why SSS uses it so often as a requirement for their freeware, and sometimes even for scenarios.

The line runs for about 10 miles from the mainline. It takes around half an hour on a passenger stopping service.

WSR is only included for the 'harlsdale railway' that starts at Harlsbrough North. Its nice track to do alternative railways with. As mentioned before summers soon here.:train1:

Pity that WSR is required. Can't look at this yet. How long is the line so far?

Hey, it's not to long to the summer sale.
