I would do some tests to see how to do it, and then I will toning down the intensity of the white texture :)

Though the white seems to be quite strong to the eye. Maybe toning down the intensity of the texture would help, I would guess.
I also like how you showcased the functions of the gate with posing Kleiner around. Little efforts like that I respect.
