Workshop articles upload Guide

Use the built-in game editor to upload items for everyone

Launch game editor (Creative Workshop upload tool)
  • Click Play and select Launch Game Editor
  • Click Play
Create item local file name
  • In the open application, enter the name of the file you want to create in the (enter item name) field (independent of the name displayed in the workshop)
  • Click (create item) button
Editor interface description

1 open content folder
2. Choose the tags of item (the tags of item determines the way the item is explained in the game. Please choose carefully. )
3. Name of the item displayed on the website of Workshop
4 description information displayed in the website of Workshop
5. The open state of the articles in the Creative Workshop (private, visible by friends, and visible in public)
6 add item modification information (can not be filled in)
7 upload button
8 application information display (such as creating feedback, uploading feedback, etc.)

  • Perfect title and description

Description of article file
  • the image file format is. PNG

    (recommended model map size 1024 * 1024, preview size 256 * 256)

  • the format of 3D model file is. Obj

    (it is recommended that the number of faces of the model should be less than 5,000. Too many faces are easy to cause loading failure, which ensures that the model has a single material and a single map.)

3D object size and initial position reference file editing

files can be used to refer to the size and position of 3D objects in the game

As shown in the picture
use head.obj File to determine the location and size of headware items (note that the center of 3D objects is the center of the world, no location, rotation, scaling 1.0)

use BodyAndHead.obj File, refer to draw label skin map or other 3D object size
