Description
There are rumors of a strange settlement in the northern part of the Canibal Plains...
Maybe you should go and check them out?

The building recipe can be found in the north of the cannibals plains, in a strange village.
Requires Tech Level 5.

In addition to 2 types of UFOs, the mod includes:
-- Teleports (interior and exterior). Base range - 500 units. Can be upgraded to teleports with unlimited range.
-- 2 new generators powered by Power Cores. Energy output 400, operating time from one core 200 hours. You can upgrade it, which increases the runtime from one core to 400 hours.
-- 2 types of lamps with white light.
-- 2 types of turrets for defense: regular and double-barreled. You can install lights on them.
-- 3 models of swords. You can craft them at the forge after learning the recipe.
-- A new type of "crossbow" and ammunition for it. You cannot create it, only take it in battle. A rare thing!

The UFO now has no light attached by default. To add exterior bottom lighting, you need to unlock them through new research, and place separate lights in 4 slots on the bottom of the UFO. Available in 2 lighting options and 4 colors.

Attention: install the interior teleport only on the ground floor ("0 floor"), otherwise it will not work.

Well, could work too, I suppose.

Also, those Alien NPCs sure like to skin you alive!
They love it so much that they sometimes lose to the local canibals, and gradually the village becomes empty.
But at least it's fun to watch.

Yeah, I'm waiting for Kenshi 2 too.

Thanks for the intel! I had no idea the "Sit When No Work" function was the issue. I managed to get a facility running, but it was definitely a task. The best method for me was building the structure, saving, then relaunching the game—it seems to fix things sometimes.

Big respect for replying, especially since you’re no longer playing. The mod works, but it takes some tweaking. Ironically, I got it working with another teleportation mod—'Fast Travel Machine'—and even built one inside the UFO! It was tricky, but once I got a unit up there, everything got easier.

Also, those Alien NPCs sure like to skin you alive! XD Thanks for the mod, hope to see you back for Kenshi 2! :steamhappy:

When I tested this (a few years ago) everything worked fine. Unfortunately, I can't test or fix it since I don't play Kenshi anymore.

teleporter kept pulling my units into its chamber non-stop
The teleporter is actually...
A chair. With a very large radius of interaction.
Just turn off "sit when no work" in AI settings.

decorative version
Just put the existing one in dev-mode and customize it to your liking.
Maybe there is another version, only with the exterior, that I made for the Green Men village. And it's only available from dev-mode.
I don't remember though, it was a long time ago...

I was wondering if it might be possible to request a decorative version—a crashed, grounded, or damaged UFO structure that isn’t floating? I think it would be awesome to use as a base building or just for decoration. Thanks again for all your hard work! :steamhappy:

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the mod—it’s such a wonderfully cool addition to my base! I’ve built one in a spot that makes it look like the UFO is looming over a mountain, and it gives off this awesome vibe like my faction is about to get abducted or something equally sinister, haha.

Thank you for creating such a fun and unique structure—it’s really added a whole new layer of atmosphere to my game!

I tried everything to build the interior portal inside the UFO on floor-0, as you suggested, even using the upgraded portal with no other mods active.

After many failed attempts, I finally got the portal to place by zooming all the way into the UFO. However, I couldn’t interact with it to add parts or make it appear.

I tried "Shift+F12," "Wemod," cheat mods, and other methods to force the interior portal to work, but nothing helped.

Additionally, the exterior teleporter kept pulling my units into its chamber non-stop, even without orders, until I deconstructed it.

The UFO is a great idea, but it feels too janky in its current state. I understand there may be limitations, but I doubt I’m the only one facing these issues.

Thanks for the cool concept, but it’s a bit wonky in execution.

Why can't a bridge be connected to it?

The basic idea was that the only way to get in was through teleporters.

Build one teleporter inside, on the 0 floor.
And another one outside so you can get out of it when necessary =)

You can build it without loading the interior of the UFO, as I recall.
