2. I've seen that! I still have to do my ATS route downloads, one of the last things I'm doing before I start playing a lot more. Once I finish that and more snailing UKTS downloading, I'll be going through all my default DLC, but I will have the routes and be trying to keep an eye out for updates to them and scenarios for them. WCML South v5.3 is on my download agenda too, and Network ScotEast as well (though I do not have the overhead wires yet, I'm trying to time subscribing for getting the final version of the subscription routes).
The reason behind creating a patch would be to NOT have confusion over the different routes. If existing scenarios work on your version - something I may have to test - when creating a patch for his route would mean people can just run an installer that is provided and be able to get the updates even though his route is final. The existing scenarios would then still work on his route. But it sounds like he doesn't want to figure that out, so that's fine.
