Hey just dropping a progress report.
Setting up dual compatibility with both forks will take some time since Requiem changed its standard file format from .dds to .png while the other one still uses .dds. For a lot of folders that isn't an issue and means that the old TNO ones can simply be re-used for Requiem stuff, but this will require a bit of conversions too, and some extra effort in making sure that the new (technically) .dds files from the 2021 backup are consistent with the content that was added after After Midnight's release.
It's a lot and lot of busywork and involved cross referencing hundreds of folders and thousands of files so please bear with me while I try to minimize issues once the update drops.
On the bright side: I added 200 portraits to Moereich (because I needed something more fun to do), so I'll release updates for both mods as a duet in the near future, with all missing/broken stuff in KR being fixed including the hundreds of scientists they added. In total I've made maybe half a thousand portraits over the past two weeks to stock up again because I had a huge backlog, so there's that too. Something to look forward to!
Sorry that this is taking a bit longer than expected, I just didn't think there'd be this much busywork involved in the process.
@Kertz: There isn't a single line of code in the mod affecting gameplay, let alone anything that could break the country select screen. Just to be sure I tested it on my dev build and was able to launch into the game just fine with the latest version of TNO:R, I was able to load up South Africa (and got reminded that I gotta sort out the missing portraits already). Please contact me on Discord by following the link in the mod's description and I'll try and help troubleshoot the matter with you if it's needed.
I went back to version 1.15.4 but nuffin
@IloveIyowa: I'll add it to the dependencies the next time I update the mod. Unless they changed every file name under the sun, that should at least make the important stuff work.
