Koblenz to Strasbourg & Offenburg (via Frankfurt)

In 1 collection by Danny
Danny's Routes - German & Austrian Routes (Merged)
11 items
Description
Here is a Merged route combines the Karlsruhe Strasbourg, Frankfurt Koblenz and Frankfurt High Speed routes, which will give you the ability to drive from Koblenz to Karlsruhe and Strasbourg / Offenburg via Frankfurt Airport. Although I should mention any issues with the original routes you need to talk to DTG rather than myself (any issues with this route however - feel free to constructively give feedback).

On my initial list to do list-

  • Quick Drive AI north of Karlsruhe
  • Quick Drive Fix and adding more destinations (but only IC / ICE ones - not doing all of the RE ones, I need to keep my sanity!)

Not on my initial list -

Route Requirements:

Updates
  • None Yet

Credits

Routes - DTG and all those mentioned in the Manual (and those in the DTG Team not mentioned in the manual too)

Just to make clear, i just want this version to work before making big changes and extra downloads that's all :).

Ok but it seems though you've missed one small part - I'm hoping to have this route on workshop be working :) (other wise i might as well delete it from here). I am getting the impression though that regardless of what i say you'll just do it anyway.

the RSSLO will be for me and my team to avoid additional DLC but in that I give you but Modified FR side :) for you :) and then we will see later :)

So basically you'd replace all the signalling completely (despite that the German bits of Karlsruhe to Offenburg at least - uses the good German Signalling? )

I'm not against it - finding time to do anything is hard :) ( i mean this isn't my only route i need to finish :) - I mean personally i would rather have this route working on steam workshop before requiring outside stuff, no offence)

Private pass I will show you and my colleagues have an idea on the base maps to redo the signaling in Germany based on that of RSSLO like that we explain the project to you well :)

(also mods on community websites usually require a few dozen extra downloads ;) )

I mean you can if you want but you'll just have to do it again if i make changes to the track - that's all i'm saying but there is also I am uneasy about it though because those people that did the changes with the assets (granted welcome ones) also blamed me for being "Lazy" and said that "i didn't care" - when I didn't have the assets to do the french catenary in the original route.

(I mean I tried with what i had to hand but of course "working for DTG" = "you are lazy" )

(Just to be clear that's not aimed at you :) )

Ouch thanks I'll start if you want to see them please

I mean the route is still broken is what i'm saying - so there is no point right now. The route freezes, so i would need to fix that. I mean i'm not against anything. but just saying if you do make changes - you'll have to do them everytime.

(equally though - it takes an hour to save the track on the route :) )

So how do we do it? I can publish it on these sites (https://www.rwcentral.com/) just the track.bin and the Network but as a prerequisite you need your workshop?
