Description
== PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Thresher Type-B was the lead-in design model for the Thresher. Smaller and sleeker, the Type - B is a fast moving scout sub. It features strong offensive capability, but needs an outpost to rearm. It's stealth mode turns off lights and reduces engine output to allow for movement without drawing attention to itself.

It's design was to reach and respond to all threats, as well as fit into small areas that other subs could not, while being able to deliver crew and cargo short distances. Due to it's lack of fabricators or deconstructors, the Type - B must have a destination to rearm and restock at.

It has 2 coilguns that give very wide coverage, as well as a single railgun. The small subdeck is used as ammunition storage, white the main deck holds minimal storage for courier missions.

Type: Scout
Price: 4654 marks
Dimensions: 35x11 m
Cargo: 4 crates
Max suits: 6 [3 PUCS, 3 Combat Suits]
Recommended crew: 1 to 3

== FILE NOTES:
  • Like the Thresher, the Type-B has a double layered hull for increased integrity.
  • The stealth system is activated from the navigational terminal. It disables all exterior lighting and changes interior lighting to blue. Engine force is reduced to reduce noise production. If the reactor is turned off, then the Thresher can go almost completely unnoticed.
  • The railgun trigger is wired to the navigational terminal, meaning that the captain and gunner must communicate to operate the weapon properly.
  • Two coilguns give the ship a lot of coverage, though not complete.
  • Plenty of ammo is stored in the subdeck.
  • Reasonably priced!

== RECOMMENDED CREW:
  • Captain
  • Electrical Engineer OR Mechanic

== FIELD NOTES:
  • The ship has a solid stock of ammunition and medical supplies.
  • Stealth mode needs to be disengaged for gunners to see.
  • Stealth mode reduces engine output.
  • Subdeck can be hard to get in and out of during emergency situations. Watch your head.

Make sure that the batteries are charging, especially the supercapacitor that comes off the main junction. I will be looking over this design and do another round of bugfixes when the next Barotrauma update drops.

Ill do another run and check the reactor it seemed fine.

The AI love to take all the fuel rods out of the reactor except one, which can hamper the ability for the reactor to properly power the subsystems. Check to see if that was the error.

Please let me know what happens when you sink: did you get hit? Is there water somewhere it shouldn't be? Thanks!

@Jakkal Is the reactor on? The reactor is a tad weird. It pops out one of its fuel rods every round but it doesn't drain them.

sadly i keep sinking, is it because of the pump not working properly or those airlocks you mentioned earlier with the ballast tanks?
